These are few examples of yarn bombing that I found from the facebook group (all of which I found the most interesting). The top two images I loved how the the yarn is used to wrap around the fencing to create drawings and patterns. The softness of the yarn also takes away the harshness of the metal wiring, immediately changing the context of the space (in this case, photo). With the yarn made furniture, what captured me with this was the old, Roman cathedral that loomed over behind it. The furniture creates a striking contrast with the architecture, again changing the impression the space has on the viewer. As for the bike, I thought it was quite comical how it was bombarded with multicoloured pom poms. It's as if they just manifested themselves onto the object.
