Compared to the finger knitting, I found this a little more frustrating (at first!). The thread kept sliding off the cardboard doughnut and the threads kept coming out when I teased the yarn to make the pom poms more 'puffier' and bigger. However after a while, I got into the gist of things and I was able to create the pom poms relatively easy (although it was still quite time consuming).
